Underwater Detectives will be presented at the Chicago Maritime Fest Feb. 23 held at the Chicago History Museum.The program is a basic introduction to the underwater world.The many things to discover,sunken ships, airplanes,cities, fish,marine animals,water and animal conservation are some of the areas covered.
The program starts with discription and location ships part.
The equipment used by divers to do the research is explained and demonstrated.
A video an ships ,caves,fish and marine animals is shown.
The guests are formed into teams that will survey an area of a 40 ft ship.When finished there drawings are assembled to form a basic survey of a unknown shipwreck.
Certificates are give to the new Underwater Detectives.
